There are lots of varieties of English toffee. Here is my favorite! This candy takes no more than 20 minutes to make – perfect for a busy Christmas season!
Peanut Brittle
This is a favorite candy at my house. Peanuts coated with crunchy, caramelized sugar? Nothing could be better! Peanut brittle is a perfect last minute gift or a perfect stocking stuffer. The best part? It takes about 15 minutes to make!
Nisu (Finnish Coffee Bread)
If you love the warm spice of cardamom then this is the treat for you. This marvelous bread is delicious right out of the oven or toasted the next morning for an extra special breakfast treat. Nisu is an absolute must in my family for Christmas morning!
Pumpkin Bread
Pumpkin bread is one of the all time favorite holiday sweets with my family. Tie it with a ribbon to give as a gift or take to the office for the Christmas party. Or don’t tell anyone you made it and keep for yourself!
Christmas Cookies Galore!
I love making Christmas cookies! I made approximately 25,000 cookies each year when I owned a bakery. Many of those cookies were decorated cutouts and many more were these cookies – beautiful, elegant sophisticated bites that add a special touch to any table.
Citrus “Shortbread”
While this citrus shortbread has the standard ingredients for shortbread, it certainly doesn’t have that texture. These cookies are wonderfully chewy but still have a lovely melt in your mouth quality. A great addition to any tray of Christmas cookies!
Classic Shortbread
Buttery, melt in your mouth shortbread is the standard by which all others should be measured and this version surely fills the bill! Dense and rich, this shortbread makes great gifts – if it doesn’t disappear too quickly!
Snowballs (aka Russian Tea Cakes/Mexican Wedding Cookies)
Snowballs are a wonderful addition to a tray of Christmas cookies. Â They are nutty, sweet, and melt in your mouth delicious. Best of all, the cookies can be frozen unbaked and then baked to order. They couldn’t be easier!

Cappuccino Cheesecake
There are more variations of cheesecake than you can count and this is one of my favorites! This cappuccino cheesecake is a simple variation of our dense, delicious New York cheesecake. Serve this cheesecake for your next event (Hanukkah? Christmas Dinner? New Year’s Eve?) and you are sure to get rave reviews.
Buche De Noel
There are many, many ways to make a buche de Noel – sponge cake, buttercream, whipped cream, meringue mushrooms – the list goes on and on. This version is light and airy, delicate and sophisticated, and modern in it’s presentation. Having a party? This is the perfect centerpiece for the dessert table!
